After a long and sometimes a complicated process, Lowry High School senior Savannah Stoker has found her landing spot for college basketball.

She will be headed to Twin Falls, Idaho, and College of Southern Idaho.

The Eagles went 28-6 last season and have been a perennial Junior College for a number of years. Randy Rogers, who coached at Spring Creek High School, took over at CSI 22 years ago.

Stoker led Lowry to state championships in basketball in all three of her varsity seasons (her freshman year was canceled when the NIAA didn’t play basketball during due to COVID-19).

Stoker scored 2,000 points in her career while averaging 23 points, 10 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 54 percent from the field.

In addition, the Lady Bucks won two regional titles in her time and won 75 of the 88 games she played in.

Stoker was a three-time Northern 3A Player of the Year and earned back-to-back state Most Valuable Player honors.

The University of Nevada showed interest in signing Stoker, but that process fell through and she headed to Idaho where she is very familiar with the program.

This spring, Stoker broke the Nevada state record for career home runs in softball at 47. She currently stands at 52.

Stoker holds the single-season state homer record as well with 21 in 2023 when she led Lowry to the state championship game where it lost to North Valleys.

This season, Stoker is hitting .506 with 12 homers, eight triples and five doubles in 87 at-bats. She has driven in 48 runs and scored 47.

Despite those accomplishments, she did not get an offer to play college softball.

Stoker also was a standout volleyball player for the Buckaroos, earning all-state honors her junior and senior season.
