The Lowry High School swim team returned to Northwest Pool on Saturday, Apil 20, to dual South Tahoe. The Vikings collected two wins, beating the boys 128-19 and the Lady Bucks 141-90.
The Lowry boys had just two swimmers at the meet, with Steven Camacho finishing second in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1 minute, 25.13 seconds and was third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:25.13).
Garrett Jensen placed fourth in both the 100-yard butterfly (1:25.27) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:54.26).
In the girls dual, Tea Bengoa won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:23.98 and was the runner-up in the 100-freestyle (1:14.22).
Makenna Toland earned a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-butterfly at 1:31.07 and the 50-yard freestyle (33.07).
Aidan Peters finished third in the 50-yard freestyle, stopping the watch at 33.73 and she was third in the 100-backstroke (1:29.09).
Evie Morgan was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:55.08 to go with a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (1:35.14).
Lizzie Harmon finished third in the 500-yard freestyle (7:39.45) and was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:35.14 and Mia Martinez placed third in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:49.13 and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (39.33).
Alora McClure was fifth in the 100-yard freestyle and Maygen Robinson placed fifth in the 100-yard backstroke.
The 200-medley relay of Peters, Morgan, Bengoa and Toland were first with a time of 2:38.69.
Lowry traveled to Fernley this past Friday for a dual with North Tahoe and Fernley.
Results were not available at press time. The regular season concludes on Saturday in Carson City with a dual against Sparks, Hug and Sage Ridge.
