The opening days for the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club were wonderful thanks to the agreeable Spring weather.
The turnout was better than expected since the club was able to start playing earlier than last year. The Monday afternoon 9-hole group finished as follows:
Lisa Carlson was the low gross winner with a score of 48. The low net winner was Malinda Riemersma with a score of 35. Tami Anderson finished second for low net with a score of 36.
Tami is new to the club so congratulations to her first time out!
There are several new members this season so the Winnemucca Ladies Club is looking forward to a promising season!
The Tuesday morning group played a Scramble Tournament which proved to be extremely entertaining with plenty of laughs to be had! The teams finished as follows:
The first-place team members of Adua Boyle, Vicki Celio, and MaryLou Curti finished with a gross score of 75. The second-place team members of Carole Doughty, Melissa Murphy, Laurie Pickett, and Anne Sample finished with a gross score of 80.
