March 12

In the case of Harold Crawford, charged with Drawing a Deadly Weapon in a Threatening Manner. Pursuant to negotiation, the defendant entered a No Contest plea, which the court canvassed and accepted. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, which was converted to jail time and given credit for time served. Remaining jail time may be used for future sentencing. Bond exonerated. 


In the case of James Randolf Ruiz Jr., charged with Convicted Person to Notify Local Law Enforcement Officer of Change of Address. Defendant entered a No Contest Plea, which the court canvassed and accepted. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $640, to be paid by monthly payments of $50 beginning June 1, 2024.


March 14

In the case of Basil Lee Hooper Jr., charged with Unlawful Trespass Upon Land. Defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court canvassed and accepted the same. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $195, which was converted to jail time and given credit for time served. Defendant is to be released from custody on this case.


In the case of Robert Ketner, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st Offense. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Steve Girardot amended the criminal complaint to NRS 200.481-Battery, which was acknowledged by all parties. 

Defendant entered No Contest plea to the amended charge. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. 

The remaining $990 is to be paid by monthly payments of $50 beginning May 1, 2024. 

The No Contact order of the release is hereby lifted. 


In the case of Charles Randy Preston, charged with, 1: Battery Upon an Older Person or Vulnerable Person, 2: Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3: Intimidating a Public Officer. 

After hearing from all parties, the court ruled as follows: Fined a total of $2,280, which was converted to jail time and given credit for time served. Defendant is hereby released from custody on this case.


In the case of Jordan Isiaha Mayden, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pursuant to negotitation, DDA Steve Girardot amended the criminal complaint to NRS 454.351, which was acknowledged by all parties. 

A plea agreement in abstentia was also presented to the court following the amendment. Defendant entered a No Contest plea to amended charge and is sentenced as follows: Fined $1,140, which is to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning May 1, 2024. The conditions of his release are hereby rescinded.


March 15

In the case of Jordan Isiaha Mayden, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Steve Girardot amended the criminal complaint to NRS 454.351, which was acknowledged by all parties. A plea agreement in absentia was also presented to the court following the amendment. Defendant entered a No Contest plea to the amended charge and is sentenced as follows: Fined $1,140, converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The conditions of his release are hereby rescinded.  


March 19

In the case of Larry Walker, charged with Display Fictitious or Revoked Registration. Matter was off record via telephone. Due to compliance, DA Kevin Pasquale dismissed the citation. 


In the case of Lovepreet Singh, charged with Non Resident Driving Privilege Suspended. Pursuant to negotiation, the citation was amended to NRS 483.550, with the fine amount to reflect the amendment. Defendant has 30 days to pay in full.


In the case of Braden William Waln, charged with Reckless Driving. Pursuant to negotiation, DA Kevin Pasquale amended the citation to NRS 484B.600-Basic Speed 37 over limit, with the fine amount to remain as is. 

Defendant agreed to pay in full following court.


In the case of Sean Gallagher, charged with Petit Larceny. Pursuant to negotiation and compliance, DA Kevin Pasquale motioned to dismiss the case, which was accepted by the court.

March 5

Rachael Ann Haynes, age 41, was arrested for Failure to Appear Warrant. Bail $3,200.


March 6

Juvenile Male, age 15, was arrested for, 1: Stalking/Harrassing, 2: TPO Violation. No Bail.


Demetrio Herrera, age 54, was arrested for Failure to Appear Warrant. Bail $20,200.


March 7

Ralph Virgil, age 66, was arrested for Failure to Appear Warrant. Bail $1,535.


March 10

Kevin Mertens, age 38, was arrested for DUI – 3rd Offense. Bail $20,000.


Elby Berg, age 43, was arrested for Domestic Battery, Simple – 1st Offense. Bail $3,000.


Juan Mojica, age 41, was arrested for Violating TPO. Bail $3,000.


March 14

Jennifer Tipton, age 56, was arrested for Trespassing w/out Incident. Bail $195.


March 18

Jennifer Castaneda, age 27, was arrested for, 1: Domestic Battery, 2: Resisting, 3: Obstruct or Delay Public Officer, 4: Harassment. Bail $5,280.


Timothy Richard Privett, age 34, was arrested for, 1: Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, 2: Resist Public Officer, 3: Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Bail $23,640.


Taylah Marler, age 24, was arrested for, 1: Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, 2: Resist Public Officer, 3: Possession of a Dangerous Drug w/out a Prescription, 4: Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Bail $28,640.


March 19

Neil Kvokov, age 53, was arrested for Assault w/ use of Deadly Weapon. Bail $20,000.


Zackary Allen Lacey, age 22, was arrested for Attempted Escape by a Felony Prisoner. Bail $20,000.


Landyn Dean Davis, age 19, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bail $5,000.


Tyler James Staas, age 34, was arrested for, 1: Driving While Driver’s License is Suspended, 2: Operating an Unregistered Vehicle, 3: Proof of Insurance Required. Bail $1,290.
