Ladies Golf Results —
The results of the Monday 9-Hole group braving the unusually cold June weather are as follows:
Low gross first place winner was Lisa Carlson with a score of 45.
Low gross second place winner was Laurie Pickett with a score of 52.
Low net first place winner was Debbie Connors with a score of 39.5. Low net second place winner was Shelly Smith with a score of 41.5.
The Tuesday morning golfers also had some chilly weather to deal with but fortunately the temperatures gradually climbed to make for a nice day of golf.
The ladies played the Blind Hole Tournament where they did not know which nine of the eighteen holes would count for their final net score. The results are as follows:
First flight first low net winner was Marlea Pointer with a score of 38.
First flight second low net winner was Melissa Murphy with a score of 38.
Marlea won the tie breaker with a better back nine to take first place. Second flight low net winner was Eleanor Taylor with a score of 36.
Second flight second low net winner was Maria Bengochea with a score of 38.
Marlea Pointer had the fewest putts with 26 and she had a chip in on Hole 18.
Cortney Keiser Ayers was closest to the hole on Hole 2 with a distance of 17’4”, and she birdied the hole. Eleanor Taylor was closest to the hole on Hole 5 with a distance of 19’2”, and she birdied the hole as well.
