May 29

In the case of Evan James Lewis, charged with Minor in Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage. Defendant entered No Contest plea at the counter. Per Judge Loveless, ok to give him credit for two days time served. 


In the case of Steven Daniel Sterchak, charged with DUI – 1st Offense. Defendant had entered a Guilty plea on April 15, 2024.

The court ruled as follows: Sentenced to 30 days jail w/ 28 days stayed for period of one year. Stayed jail time on the condition he serve two days and was given credit for two days time served. 

Fined $585, to be paid following court on 5/29/24. DUI school and victim impact panel to be completed by August 1, 2024. Defendant was ordered to have the breath interlock device for a period of 185 days. 

Defendant was further ordered to follow all recommendations of his evaluation and attend outpatient counseling two times per week with monthly reports to the court. 


In the case of Henadzi Lapatski, charged with Reckless Driving. Citation was dismissed per DDA Stephen Girardot. 


May 30

In the case of Evan James Lewis, charged with, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Open Container, 3: Minor in Consumption of Alcohol. County presented one exhibit, which was admitted w/out objection. 

Defendant had previously entered a Guilty plea on January 8, 2024. 

The court ruled as follows: Sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year, stayed jail time on the condition he serve two days and was given credit for two days time served. 

Fined $585, to be paid in monthly payments of $50, starting after restitution has been paid. DUI school and victim impact panel  to be completed by August 1, 2024. 

Defendant was ordered to have the breath interlock device for a period of 185 days. Defendant was ordered to pay restitution totaling $5,786 in $50 monthly payments to each party. County dismissed counts 2 and 3. 


May 31

In the case of Tomie Joleen Rogers, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st Offense – Amended to Breach of Peace on 4/12/24. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge, the court ruled as follows: Fined $355. Defendant stated she can pay today.


In the case of Matthew William Cameron, charged with, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Headlamps Not Illuminated when Required. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to count 1 – DUI and presented the court with the DUI Admonishment and Waiver form. 

The court canvassed his plea and ruled as follows: Sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition he serve two days, and was given credit for one day time served. Remaining day was converted to 24 hours community service, to be completed by September 30, 2024. 

Fined $585, to be paid from cash bail posted. DUI school and victim impact panel to be completed by September 30, 2024.

Defendant was ordered to breath interlock device for a period of 185 days. Pursuant to negotiations, the county made motion to dismiss count 2. Motion was granted in open court. 


June 4

In the case of Sergio Daniel Moreno-Arredondo, charged with Hazardous Conditions – Extreme Caution Required. 

Matter was discussed off the record. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Anthony Gordon amended the citation to NRS 484B.617 – Violations of Speed Limit in Rural Area, with fine amount to reflect amendment. Defendant is to pay and full following court. 


Kurt Powell Killian, charged with Drive w/ Revoked Drivers License. DDA Anthony Gordon discussed this matter w/ defendant off the record. Due to compliance and proof provided. DA dismissed this case off the record. 



In the case of Kurt Killian, charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle While Driver’s License was Revoked. DDA Anthony Gordon discussed this matter with defendant off the record. Due to compliance and proof provided, DA dismissed this case off the record. Bond exonerated.

May 27

Known Suspect, age 15, was arrested for, 1: Evading the Police, 2: Registration of Vehicle of Nonresident Owner not Required, 3: Driving w/out Valid Driver’s License, 4: Driving w/out Valid Insurance, 5: Possession of a Controlled Substance. No Bail.


May 30

Nicholas Robert Glover, age 32, was arrested for, 1: Trespass Not Amounting to Burglary, 2: Disorderly Conduct. Bail $440.


June 1

Christiana Humes, age 27, was arrested for FTA Warrant and Resist/Obstruct Officer. Bail $2,240.


Gregg Arnold Hakkila, age 63, was arrested for Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor Warrant. Bail $555.


Francisco Javier Castaneda, age 35, was arrested for Injure or Tamper w/ Vehicle – Damage $250-$5,000. Bail $2,500.


June 4 

Jeremy Shommer, age 41, was arrested for Elude – Speed 41+. Bail $1,090.


June 6

Victor Keeves, age 60, was arrested for Parole Violation. No Bail.


Lynda Robles, age 40, was arrested for Battery. Bail $1,340.


June 7

Tyler Dennis Haldeman, age 28, was arrested for Intoxicated Pedestrian in Roadway. Bail $195.


June 8

Alvaro Junior Lagunas, age 18, was arrested for, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Destruction of Property, 3: Minor in Consumption. Bail $1,880.


June 10

Known Juvenile, age 10, was arrested for Domestic Battery. No Bail.



June 11

Ryan Cherokee Phillips, age 23, was arrested for, 1: Domestic Battery, 2: False Imprisonment, 3: Preventing or Dissuading Victim, or Person Acting on Behalf of Victim, or Witness From Reporting Crime, Commencing Prosecution, or Causing Arrest.  Bail $10,500.
