The first and second-place winners of the Doc Verner Memorial Junior Golf tournament included, Kalani Rodriguez, Txendoa Cabatbat, Kea Cabatbat, Armando Rodriguez, Sebastian Roman, Owen Korinek, Bryelle Weber and Ariana Milam.
Kalani Rodriguez claimed the top spot in the annual Doc Verner Memorial junior golf tournament on Wednesday, July 24, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course with a round of 104.
Bailey Miller was second at 134 followed by Naomi Miller (137).
Txendoa Cabatbat won the boys 13-14-year-old division with a nine-hole score of 51 and Aiden Guzman was the runner-up, carding a 58.
Kea Cabatbat paced the field in the boys 10 and under division, shooting 41. Armando Rodriguez (45) was second and Julian Valencia (54), Johnny Gildone (55) and Jayson Milam (59) rounded out the top five. Eric Marcinik shot 64 and Emmett Perez (66) closed out the scores in the division.
Sebastain Roman shot a 46 to win the boys 10 and under division, with Owen Korinek (53) second. Grant Weber (55), Casen Baalam (57) and Drake Guzman finished out the top five. Liam Kohler (65), Jaden Milam (68) and Canyon Weber (72) rounded out the scores.
Bryelle Weber shot a 49 to win the girls 10 and under division.
Arian Milam (56) was second and Rosalee Heiser (62) was third, respectively.
Karli Rodriguez (70) and Emma Jones (76) closed out the five, and Addie Enochson (78), Kourtney Hoyd (82), Brylee Smith (86) and Isla Enochson (90) completed the scores.
