In the case of Connie Elaine Greenlee, charged with Fail or Refuse to Surrender, Suspend. Defendant paid her case in full. Hearing vacated.
July 16
In the case of Brandy Frost, charged with, 1: No Proof of Insurance, 2: Suspended/Revoked Plate. County dismissed both counts upon proof provided.
In the case of Shayla Gomez, charged with, 1: Hit and Run Unattended Vehicle, 2: Failure to Immediately Report, 3: No Proof of Insurance. DDA Elizabeth Evans, who was representing the county, dismissed citation in its entirety. Case Closed.
In the case of Caryn Sanchez, charged with, 1: Minor in Possession or Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage, 2: Possess One Ounce or Less of Marijuana. Defendant plead Guilty to both counts. The court canvassed her plea and accepted the same, the court ruled as follows:
Fined $1,095, with $595 suspended for a period of one year on the condition of no new like violations. Remaining fine of $500 converted to 25 hours community service. A review hearing was set for September 17, 2024 at 11:30a.m.\
July 17
In the case of Kody Andrew Jock, charged with, 1: Unlawful Trespass Upon Land, 2: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pursuant to negotiations in a district court matter, Defendant entered a No Contest plea to count 1 – Trespass. Court accepted his plea and ruled as follows:
Fined $195, which were converted to one day jail time and given credit for time served. DDA Stephen Girardot made motion to dismiss count 2, no objection from defense.
July 18
In the case of Kayla Nicole Zamudio, charged with Battery-Amended. DDA Steve Girardot amended complaint to Battery. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge.
The court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 and was given credit for of $150 for one day time served, leaving a balance of $990. Judge suspended $500 for a period of one year on the condition of no new like violations.
Remaining balance of $500 is to be paid in $50 monthly payments starting on or before September 1, 2024.
In the case of Levi Randall Egger, charged with Child Abuse, Neglect, or Endangerment. State was represented by DDA Stephen Girardot. Defendant complied with terms of the deferred agreement.
After hearing from both parties, state made motion to dismiss case. Court granted motion, case dismissed in open court based on motion made by state. Defendant is released from pretrial services and no longer us under the OR conditions as case is now closed.
In the case of Whitney Brooke Crandall, charged with Abuse, Neglect, or Endangerment of Child. State was represented by DDA Stephen Girardot. Defendant complied with terms of the deferred agreement.
