Homeschool families and those considering homeschooling are invited to join an informative session addressing key questions about the transition from homeschool to college. The event, slated for Tuesday, July 30 at 6 p.m., will cover essential topics such as whether to graduate a child from an accredited program or a personal homeschool curriculum, and the implications of each choice for college admissions and financial aid. The meeting will take place in the main building in room 108.
Participants will also learn about the potential for reduced tuition for dual enrollment and the various degree options available to dual enrollment students. Additionally, a seasoned homeschool mother, whose child is heading to an out-of-state college this fall, will share valuable tips and her personal experiences.
The event is open to all interested families, with supervised activities available for younger children, allowing parents and older children to participate fully in the discussion.
