Xtreme Broncs return

For the second straight year, the Winnemucca Event Center was packed with fans as the PRCA Winnemucca Xtreme Broncs returned on New Year’s Eve with 30 of the best saddle bronc riders in the world. Kade Bruno took home the top prize with a ride of 86.5 points on Hippy Mountain. Pictured above is Winnemucca’s Mitch Pollock, who tied for seventh.

The PRCA Xtreme Broncs returned to Winnemucca on New Year's Ever with 30 of the best saddle bronc riders in the world. Kade Bruno, who finished third in the world in 2023, won with a ride of 86.5 points.

Winnemucca cowboy Trenten Montero was remembered and honored during the rodeo. Montero passed away in August after an accident at an Idaho rodeo.

New Mexico's Cleve Griffin attempts to stay on his bronc for the full eight seconds.

Oregon's Nick Joyce tied for seventh.

New Mexico's Bryan Huey finished second.
