They came a long way in a short time. Lovelock’s Pop Warner cheerleaders are all relatively new to cheering but they made it to the national competition in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 7.

“They got to go to Sea World and they even shut down the park for a special party for them one night,” said coach Marci Carruth. “They got all sorts of wonderful, free food and got to experience all the rides and shows. They placed thirteenth out of 14 but had the time of their lives. I can’t wait to see what they will accomplish next year.”
