MHS boys drop final three games of regular season

The McDermitt High School boys basketball team concluded the regular season with three road games.

The Bulldogs came up short in all three contests, dropping to 3-20 overall and 2-12 in the 1A East.

McDermitt made its way to Owyhee on Thursday to make up a game that was postponed in January. The Braves completed the season sweep with a 60-44 win.

The Bulldogs had the tough task of play league-leading and undefeated Eureka on Friday night.

The Vandals won the game 67-10.

The long road trip concluded on Saturday afternoon with a 59-21 loss to Lund.

McDermitt was back in Owyhee on Tuesday for the opening round of the 1A East Regional Tournament. Results were not available at press time.

The Bulldogs needed a win to continue their season and play Lund or Carlin on Friday in Spring Creek.

Eureka will play the winner of Jackpot and Wells on Friday, with the championship on Saturday.
