The McDermitt High School girls basketball team continues to show its dominance with three more wins last week — running its win streak to 11 and a 14-2 record overall.
The squad features just one senior and a combined eight freshmen and sophomores. The Lady Bulldogs are perfect in the 1A East at 9-0.
McDermitt traveled to Carlin last Thursday to make a up game that was postponed due to weather earlier ion January.
The Lady Bulldogs had no trouble in the 62-10 win.
McDermitt came back home for the final time on Friday night and beat Owyhee 62-40, as Nicolette Northrup was honored on senior night. In the home finale on Saturday, McDermitt took on Carlin again and beat the Railroaders 54-14.

McDermitt 62, Carlin 10
The contest was originally scheduled for earlier in January but was postponed due to weather and poor road conditions.
The Lady Bulldogs had little trouble with the Railroaders.

McDermitt found itself in one its tougher games in the 1A East on Thursday night in McDermitt. Kiarra Crutcher with seven points and four each from Sadie Hinkey propelled the Lady Bulldogs to an early 19-6 lead. Leading by 11-6, McDermitt scored the final eight points of the first quarter.
The advantage grew to 29-9 in the second quarter off of 3-pointers by Vina Tom and Alexis Scott. After giving up the last six points of the first half, Reign Crutcher came out of the break with a 3-pointer to extend the lead to 35-15.
Owyhee hung around into the fourth quarter and cut the gap to 48-38 with 4:10 to play. The Braves could have made it closer but were 6-of- 26 from the free throw line.
Tom paced McDermitt with 16 points and Scott and Reign Crutcher joined her in double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Kiarra Crutcher added nine points, Hinkey seven, Laeloni Tobey six and Cierra Smart one.

For the second time in three days, McDermitt took on Carlin and the result was just about the same.
The Lady Bulldogs raced out to a 10-2 lead after eight minutes of play and stretched the advantage to 31-7 at halftime.
McDermitt finishes the regular season with three road games, beginning Thursday in Owyhee.
The top spot for the 1A East will be up for grabs on Friday at Eureka. A win by McDermitt clinches the top spot in the regional tournament. The regular season concludes on Saturday in Lund.
The 1A East Regional Championship begins Tuesday at home sites. The No. 1 seed receives a bye into the semifinals to be played in Spring Creek.
