McDermitt girls continue winning ways in Beatty

The McDermitt High School girls basketball team continued its winning ways, this time way down in southern Nevada. 

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Beatty for the Beatty Bash.

McDermitt beat the host Hornets on Friday 68-18 and fellow Eastern 1A opponent Lund 48-16. The contest against Lund does not count towards the league standings.

On Friday, McDermitt took care of Virginia City 49-25, a member of the Western 1A.

McDermitt is off until Friday, Dec. 27, when they travel to California for four days at the West Coast Jamboree. McDermitt is scheduled to play St. Vincent de Paul on Dec. 27. The Mustangs are 7-1 on the season.

As 2025 starts, McDermitt begins Eastern 1A play at home on Friday, Jan. 3 against Eureka at 6 p.m. 

The Lady Bulldogs host Lund at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4.
