It has been a few years but now you can see some smiles coming from the McDermitt High School boys basketball team.
After having this weekend’s Super 8 Classic in Susanville canceled, the Bulldogs traveled to Beatty Bash, where they got five games in over two days.
McDermitt won four of its five contests and ran its winning streak to five for the first time since 2018. The Bulldogs’ five wins have surpassed their total of four over the last two years.
“It has been a while since we have done that,” said MHS coach Jack Smith. “It has been to get some wins and the boys are happy.”
