Lander County residents are invited to attend a free webinar hosted by the National Travel Center on Tuesday, Dec.17, at 9 a.m.
This event, titled "New Ideas, New Resilience, New Plans," will provide actionable insights to help communities prepare for the future and build resilience.
The webinar will feature three distinguished speakers sharing their expertise:
Maree Forbes-Gaughan: Chief Strategist and CEO of the National Travel Center, with over 35 years of experience, Maree will discuss her groundbreaking work, Tourism: Economic Development for Every Size Community.
Elaine Gizler: Former Director of Tourism and Economic Development for Moab and San Juan County, Utah, Elaine brings her extensive knowledge of utilizing tourism to address economic challenges in rural areas.
Deb Brown: Co-founder of Save Your Town and author of From Possibilities to Reality: Save Your Small Town, Deb will share practical steps communities can take today to revitalize and adapt.
Topics will include:
• Strategies to face emerging realities.
• Ideas you can put into action immediately.
• Leveraging your community’s unique strengths for growth.
