Legal No 29613 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS PWP-HU-2025-091 Sealed proposals for the 2024 WHITWORTH AMPHITHEATER PROJECT will be received by the City of Winnemucca at the City Engineer's Office, City Hall, 90 West Fourth Street, Winnemucca, Nevada, until 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday DECEMBER 10, 2024. Such sealed bids as are received will be publicly opened and read at that time. It is anticipated that the Winnemucca City Council will consider award of the Contract at their next regularly scheduled meeting. Said proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the contract documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the work shall include: i) CONSTRUCTION OF AN OPEN-AIR AMPHITHEATER: GRADING, ELECTRICAL SERVICE, CONCRETE FLATWORK, LANDSCAPE RETAINING WALLS, AND CMU BLOCK PARTITION WALLS; ii) IRRIGATION AND LANDSCAPING; and iii) ALL OTHER WORK DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS AND SHOWN ON THE PLANS. Bidders must have the appropriate Nevada Contractors License and be qualified pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 338.1379 or 338.1382 to bid on contracts for public works. Prevailing wage rates for the Northern Nevada area shall be paid to all classifications of labor as required by the laws of the State of Nevada. Contract documents may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer located at City Hall in Winnemucca at no charge. Only those bidders who have obtained the contract documents directly from the City and appear on the planholder list may submit a bid. All proposals must be submitted on the City of Winnemucca proposal form provided in the Contract Documents, and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, a cashier's check, or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. This project is being funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The City will only accept Bids from a Bidder who is registered and active on SAM.GOV and can provide an EUI Number and CAGE Code at the time the Bid is submitted. The attention of Bidders is directed to the State of Nevada Contractor’s License Law (NRS 624.700) and the Winnemucca Municipal Code (Chapter 5) that requires the contractor to hold a valid license with each agency. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept the proposal which is deemed by the City Council to be in the best interest of the City of Winnemucca. The City of Winnemucca also reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities in the submitted bid forms.
