WINNEMUCCA — Humboldt General Hospital is committed to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare services to our community. In order to continue offering our popular Healthy You Friday lab services, we will be implementing a rate adjustment effective Friday, Sept. 6.
The cost of the Healthy You Friday lab tests will increase from $55 to $75, and the PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test will increase from $10 to $15.
These changes are necessary to help offset the rising costs of reagents, lab supplies, and staffing, ensuring that we can continue to deliver these important health services.
This last fiscal year, Healthy You Friday has conducted over 3,500 lab tests, empowering our community to take proactive steps toward better health.
Despite the rate adjustments, these lab services continue to represent a considerable savings, offering vital health information at an affordable price.
“We understand that any increase is impactful, and we’ve worked hard to maintain the affordability of these essential services,” said Kim Plummer, Chief Financial Officer at Humboldt General Hospital. “We appreciate the community’s understanding and continued trust in our efforts to provide accessible healthcare options.”
“HGH remains dedicated to the well-being of our community and will continue to offer these services as part of our commitment to making health a priority for everyone,” said Plummer.
