In the case of Thomas Blake Armstrong, charged with, 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Fail to Drive within Marked Lanes. Defendant entered a No Contest plea. In the case of Mahdi Herawi, charged with Basic Speed Violation – 31-40 MPH Over Posted Limit. Case was discussed off the record DDA Steve Girardot amended the citation to reflect basic speed 11-20 over, with a fine of $205. Defendant was given 60 days to pay citation.

In the case of Jonathan Doyle Tybo, charged with, 1: Unlawful Possession for Sale of Schedule I or II Substance – 2 counts, 2: Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2 Counts. DDA Anthony Gordon made motion for one time dismissal. The court granted the motion. Case dismissed and bail bond exonerated.
In the case of Oscar David Galarza, charged with Battery – 2 counts - Amended. Pursuant to the plea agreement, the defendant entered a Guilty plea to the amended criminal complaint. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. The court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140, and was given credit for time served. Defendant was released from pre trial services.

In the case of Joshua Ryan Yost, charged with Battery – Amended. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge. The court accepted his plea and ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 and was given credit of $150 for time served, leaving a balance of $990, which is to be paid in $50 payments starting in 30 days.

DDA Aaron Russell made request to amend criminal complaint as the DA’s office can’t prove case without a reasonable doubt. Complaint was amended to Reckless Driving and count 2 was dismissed. Defendant and his attorney read and signed the Reckless Driving Admonishment. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charges. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. The court ruled as follows: fined $890. and was given credit for time served. The court suspended the $390. of the fines for a period of six months on the condition he has no future like violations.
August 5
In the case of Audrey Amber Warr, charged with, 1: Operating Vehicle while Driver’s License is Cancelled, Suspended, or Revoked. 2: Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Defendant read and signed her Arraignment and Rights form and entered a Guilty plea at the counter. She was fined $550 and given credit for time served. Defendant would like to do community service for remaining balance of $250. Community Service will be for a total of 12 hours and must be complete within 30 days.
