Bow Wow Meow Giddy Up won the 2024 Winners Inn Shootout bowling tournament held Aug. 3-4 at Spare Time Bowl in Winnemucca.
The Winners Inn and Winnemucca Inn helped sponsor the tournament of 32 teams and 85 players from out of town. Over $12,000 in prize money was awarded.
Bow Wow Meow Giddy Up won the top prize of $3,525 and team members include Charlie Washburn, Jeff Burkhart and Alex Supponch.
STB (Jason Jones, Eric Peters, Ajay Walters) finished second and earned $2,700.
Dirty Dawgs (Allan Eichorn, John Vershum, Taylor Prather) placed third and won $1,950. Sandy’s Boys (Thomas Lightcap, Joe Dousharm, Garry Hudgins) were fourth and won $1,500.
Fro Nuts (Casey Knutson, Cade Knutson, Jesse Fromeyer) placed fifth and CPL (Chad Carr, Parker Dixson, Josh Lanoie) were sixth.
Misfits (Bruce Haylett, Rebecca Azurmendi, Drake Dembke) placed seventh and TMJ (Tasha Groves, Marcus Browning, Jamie Flynn) finished in eighth.
The high team game went to Drink Bowl Repeat (Ed Roth, Scott Conklin, Bill Pugh) with a 717 series.
Bill Pugh had the high individual game, with a 300 and the high average out of the money went to Chris Jones at 210.
Brandy Burkhart, Anthony Lara and Mike Bearnson had the high individual points won/out of the money with 18 each.
Fro Nuts won the Saturday, Aug. 3, results, while Hard White Pins and Bow Wow Meow Giddy Up were second and third, respectively.
