The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division has placed third in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) Best Looking Cruiser Contest, earning Nevada a spot in the 2025 AAST calendar.
The achievement is a testament to the Battle Born spirit. It’s worth noting that Nevada, ranking 32nd in population, competed fiercely against larger states like Florida (ranking 3rd in population) which took first place, and Kentucky (ranking 26th in population), which came in second.
The Nevada State Police extends congratulations to Florida, Kentucky and all participants, and thanks the American Association of State Troopers for this outstanding competition highlighting State Troopers across America.
The success in this contest reflects not only the stunning appeal of the Nevada Highway Patrol cruiser but also the strength and determination of the entire state.
The photo, featuring the agencies’ new 2024 Ford Mustang alongside the Nevada Highway Patrol’s vintage restored 1990 Ford Mustang, was taken under the powerful slogan “Make History, Leave a Legacy” at the iconic Circa, Las Vegas and perfectly encapsulates the journey and commitment to excellence in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the Department’s team members across all regions and the unwavering support from our community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the photo shoot, helped organize the campaign, voted and rallied voters to support Nevada.
