In the case of Amanpreet Singh, charged with Basic Speed 11-20 Over Limit. Pursuant to negotiations, DDA Steve Girardot amended the charge to 1-10 over posted limit and a total fine of $207, to be paid by cash bail forfeiture.
April 3
In the case of Clint S. Patterson, charged with, 1: DUI – 2nd Offense, 2: Possession of Firearm When Under the Influence of Alcohol, 3: Discharging a Firearm within or From a Structure or Vehicle, 4: Open Container. Defendant entered Guilty plea to amended complaint and a copy of the DUI admonishment and evaluation was presented to the court.
The court ruled as follows: Count 1 - sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for period of one year on the condition he serve two days. Defendant was given credit for one day time served. One day, or in the alternative, 48 hours house arrest, to be completed by July 1, 2024 and he pay a fine of $585, to be paid in monthly payments of $50, with the first payment due on or before July 1, 2024. Defendant was ordered to have the breath interlock device for a period of 185 days.
Defendant is to follow all recommendations on the evaluation. Count 2 – Court imposed a fine of $195, which the court suspended. Bail is exonerated.
