The Jackson Mountain Homemakers held their annual Basque Dinner this past Saturday in front of a full crowd at the Orovada Community Center. The night featured Basque Dancing by the Winnemucca Irrintzi Dancers, a full traditional basque meal with lamb stew and flan, raffle prizes and auctions.
The Jackson Mountain Homemakers host the fundraiser event to help contribute by covering various expenses in the rural communities and donate to local organizations. The community support from attendees and businesses was greatly appreciated. Follow them on Facebook to learn more.
