The Lowry High School boys soccer team jumped out to a 1-0 lead at halftime at Fallon on Saturday, but Churchill County rallied for a pair of goals in the final 40 minutes to grab a 2-1 victory.
The Buckaroos fell to 3-4 in the Northern 3A East and 3-6-1 overall. Elko and Spring Creek are tied for first in the league at 6-0 and Churchill County and West Wendover are tied for third at 4-2-1.
Lowry is fifth at 3-4. The top four teams qualify to the Northern 3A Regional Championships.
Lowry is off this weekend and after playing just two matches at home this year, the Buckaroos will be on their home field for the next four matches.
Lowry hosts Spring Creek on Friday, Oct. 6, at 3:45 p.m. and Elko on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 11:45 a.m.
