The Lowry High School volleyball team was back on the road for a trip to Truckee, Calif., this past Friday to take on perennial 3A power Truckee in a non-conference match.
The scheduling changed this year for volleyball and the crossover matches against the 3A West will not count in league standings.
The four playoff spots from each division will be determined by in-division play.
The Wolverines kept the Lady Bucks winless in 3A play, winning three close sets 25-19, 25-22 and 25-22.
Lowry dropped to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the 3A East.
Lowry will play its first home match of September on Thursday at 6 p.m., against Wooster in a non-conference match.
The Lady Bucks will be back on the road for three matches, Dayton (Sept. 29), Fernley (Sept. 30) and Churchill County (Oct. 6).
Lowry returns home on Friday, Oct., 13, to play Elko at 6 p.m.
