September 7

In the case of Johnny White, charged with Driving While License is Cancelled, Suspended, or Revoked. Defendant did not call or appear, will forfeit cash bail posted.


In the case of Breeana Theresa Earl, charged with Resist/Obstruct/Delay a Public Officer. Motion ordered to dismiss case filed by DA’s office. 


September 12

In the case of Steven Howard Carne, charged with, 1: Driving Under the Influence-1st Offense, 2: Operating a Motor Vehicle While Driver’s License Cancelled, 3: Suspended or Revoked Due to a Violation of NRS 484C.110. Pursuant to plea negotiations, the defendant entered a Guilty plea to count 1, DUI. He, along with his attorney read and signed the DUI admonishment and waiver form. 

The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. One exhibit was entered the defense, exhibit was admitted without objection. The court ruled as follows: Sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 1 year. Stayed jail time on the condition he serve 2 days and was given credit for 1 day time served. 

The remaining day was converted to 2 days house arrest to be completed by October 31, 2023, and he pay a fine in the amount of $585 in monthly payments of $50, with first payment due on or before November 15, 2023, DUI school to be complete by December 1, 2023, victim impact panel to be completed by December 1, 2023. 

Defendant was ordered to have the Breath Interlock Device for a period of 185 days, and was given credit for 147 toward his interlock device. County made motion to dismiss count 2. Court granted motion. 


In the case of Steven Howard Carne, charged with Reckless Driving. County amended criminal complaint from DUI-1st offense to Reckless Driving w/ Disregard of Safety to Person or Property, 1st offense. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to the amended charge. He, along with his attorney read and signed the reckless driving admonishment and waiver form. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. Court ruled as follows: Fined $890 to be paid in $50 monthly payments starting on or before November 15, 2023.


In the case of Hector Manuel Zamudio, charged with Domestic Battery-1st Offense. DDA Shane Bell made motion to dismiss based on the victim not wanting to cooperate. The court granted the motion and case was dismissed.

September 14

In the case of Derek Edward Larue, charged with Driving w/ Revoked Driver’s License. County made motion to dismiss as defendant entered a plea on a related case. Court granted motion, case dismissed in open court. 


In the case of Hector Carrillo Jr., charged with Domestic Battery-2nd Offense. County requested a warrant as defendant has not complied with any of the court orders. Court issued warrant in the amount of $3,200 cash only/Humboldt County only.

August 25

Jared Tarancon, age 23, was arrested for Harrassment-1st Offense. Bail $1,140.


September 8

Hailey Daley, age 32, was arrested for, 1: Battery on Peace Officer x2, 2: Resist Officer, 3: Intox in Roadway. Bail $6,335.


Trenton Crutcher, age 24, was arrested for Violation of Probation Conditions. No Bail.


September 10

Derek Larue, age 41, was arrested for, 1: Elude Police, 2: Drive while Revoked. Bail $995.


September 12

Joe Allen Turner, age 54, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, 1st Offense. Bail $1,140.
