Kiana Gonzales led the way for the Battle Mountain High School girls golf team at the Elko JV golf match on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Ruby View Golf Course in Elko. Gonzales was fourth overall.
Lisette Haney carded a 140 for the Lady Longhorns.
White Pine’s Kylee Knudsen was the low medalist at 107, followed by Wells’ Grace Otton (11) and Tiffany Higbee (113). Wells was the lone team to have enough players for a team score.
Battle Mountain host its tournament on Thursday and travels to West Wendover on Thursday, Sept. 28.
