The Lowry High School volleyball team was back on the road for matches against Elko and Spring Creek in Northern 3A East play. The Lady Bucks were in Elko on Friday and lost 25-17, 25-22 and 25-17 to the Indians.
Lowry made the short trip over the mountain to Spring Creek on Saturday. The match was tied at one set apiece after Spring Creek won the first set 25-19 and Lowry the second 25-23.
The Lady Bucks look poised to win the third set, leading 20-15, when the Spartans scored the final 10 points to win the set. Spring Creek finished the match with a 25-20 victory in the fourth set.
Lowry dropped to 0-3 in the Northern 3A East and 2-7 overall. Lowry travels to Truckee on Friday for a 6 p.m. non-conference match.
The Lady Bucks host Wooster on Friday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m.
