In the case of Landon Trigg, charged with, 1: Resisting a Public Officer, 2: Drugs Which May Not be Introduced Into Interstate Commerce.
The county made motion to dismiss count 1 – Resist Public Officer, pursuant to plea negotiations. Count 1 was dismissed in open court. The court canvassed the plea agreement in abstentia with the defendant. A guilty plea was entered for Count 2 – Possession of Drugs Not to be Introduced Into Interstate Commerce. The court followed plea agreement and imposed a fine in the amount of $640. Defendant was given credit of $150 for one day jail time served, leaving a balance of $490. Defendant is to have fine paid in full by October 2, 2023.
