The Wolverines swept the match 25-15, 25-11 and 25-12, as the Lady Longhorns dropped to 6-8 overall and 0-1 in the Northern 2A.
Battle Mountain only had four kills on the night, two from Galileah Benavides and one each from Thalia Gonzalez and Stevlana Martinez.
Gonzalez and Asier Iturriaga each had a block and Lindsey Bleak had a team-high 12 digs. Lauren Avey and Gonzalez each collected two digs. Heidy Amezcua contributed three assists.
Battle Mountain hosted Incline and North Tahoe this past weekend and results were not available at press time due to early print deadlines for the Labor Day weekend.
