The Lowry High School volleyball team was back on the road last week for two matches in Lyon County to conclude the first half of the Northern 3A East schedule.
The Lady Bucks were in Dayton on Friday and the Dust Devils came away with a four-set victory.
Dayton won the first two sets 25-20, with Lowry coming back to keep the match going, winning the third set 25-18.
The Lady Bucks led 13-5 at one time but saw the lead trimmed to 15-13, before rallying for the win.
The Dust Devils won the fourth set 25-21 to earn the win.
Lowry made its way to Fernley on Saturday afternoon and lost in four sets to the Vaqueros. Fernley claimed the first two sets 25-18 and 26-24, with Lowry coming back to win the third set 25-22.
The Lady Bucks could not keep the momentum going, as the Vaqueros picked up their first league win, taking the fourth set 25-18.
Lowry plays its final road match on Friday in Fallon against Churchill County at 6 p.m.
The Lady Bucks finish the regular season with four straight matches at home, beginning on Friday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. the game time has been changed to accommodate homecoming festivities.
Churchill County leads the Northern 3A East at 5-0, followed by Elko at 4-1 and Spring Creek (3-2).
Dayton holds the final playoff spot at 2-3, with Fernley at 1-4 and Lowry at 0-5.
