The Lowry High School girls basketball team will begin its defense of back-to-back state championships with a trip to Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday for the Silverado Shootout.
The Lady Bucks will take on Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and Faith Lutheran at 8 p.m.
Lowry faces Clark on Saturday at 8 a.m. and close out the tournament against Valley at 11 a.m.
The busy schedule continues in Reno the flowing week with games against Galena, Bishop Manogue, Lassen, Calif., and Spanish Springs.
The Lowry boys basketball team begins its season in Elko, with a three-day tournament from Nov. 30-Dec. 2
The Lowry wrestling team travels to Fallon on Dec. 2 for duals and return home on Dec. 7 for a dual with South Tahoe and Dec. 8-9 for the Cody Louk Invitational at the Event Center.
The McDermitt High School girls basketball team travels to Wells for the WREC Classic from Nov. 30-Dec. 2, while the boys basketball team heads to Reno for the Winter Invitational the same weekend.
The Battle Mountain High School boys and girls basketball teams will travel to Hawthorne for the Serpent Classic from Nov. 30-Dec. 2.
The Longhorns will travel to Smith Valley for a two-day tournament on Dec. 8-9.
The Battle Mountain wrestling team travels to Boise, Idaho on Dec. 1-2 for the Bucks Bags Donnelley Duals and travel to Elko on Dec. 6 for a dual.
The Longhorns travel to Winnemucca on Dec. 8-9 for the Cody Louk Invitational.

The boys basketball team hosts Galena on Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and the girls host Carson on Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The boys play Lowry on Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
