Trailer Shakers won the 2023 Sandy McLinden Memorial Tournament held Oct. 28-29 at Spare Time Bowl.
The Winners Inn and Winnemucca Inn helped sponsor the tournament, as 36 teams nearly 110 bowlers participated, with 96 of them from out of town.
Over $13,000 in prize money was awarded.
Trailer Shakers won the top prize of $3,600 and team members include Nolen Fisher, Jim Nunley and Andy Kinney.
Broken Arrow (Joe Funk, Nick Scherer, Delbert Sturm) finished second and earned $2,700.
Wookin Pa Nub (Bruce Haylett, Will Wilkerson, Mike Sulak) placed third and won $1,950. JJC (James Koepper, James Pinkney, Cesar Rojas) were fourth and won $1,500.
He She Shim (Scott Shimming, Tasha Hodge, Jamie Flynn) placed fifth and Pink Camo Toe (Josh Groves, Jeff Cecil, Danny Pankowski) were sixth.
Sandy’s Boys (Craig McLinden, Gary Hudgins, Michael Blair) placed seventh and Teach Me (Jesse Fromeyer, Josh Cook, Doug Haylett) finished in eighth.
The high team game went to EDT (Tim Biggs, Ed Hunt, Drew Yoder) with a 753 series. Robert Landis had the high individual game at 300.
The high average out of the money went to Shawn Horenberger at 236.42. Todd Ashcroft had the high individual points won/out of the money with 20.
Teach Me won the Saturday, Oct. 28, results, while Broken Arrow and We Usta Could, were second and third, respectively.
