#As the Lowry High School boys soccer team took to its home field for the regular season finale against Churchill County on Tuesday, Oct. 24, the Buckaroos knew they need a win and some help in Ely at the same time.
#The Buckaroos accomplished its part of the bargain, beating the Greenwave 6-0 but West Wendover knocked off White Pine to clinch the No. 4 seed in the Northern 3A East.

#Lowry concluded the season at 6-5-3 in the Northern 3A East and 5-7-4 overall.
#The Buckaroos scored three goals in the first 17 minutes of the match, starting with a penalty kick from Rojelio Leon in the ninth minute.
# Lowry earned the kick after Churchill County was called for a foul in the box, as the Buckaroos were attempting to score.

#Just a couple minutes later, the Churchill County goalie could not handle the shot from Nazerath Razo and Lowry concluded the first half scoring, as Leon took a pass from Danny Castaneda and found the back of the net.
#Razo picked up his second goal of the day in the 50th minute and Leon completed the hat trick with his third goal in the 64th minute.
#Castaneda closed out the scoring in the 77th minute with a shot in the top corner of the net.
