Court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140 with $1,000 suspended for period of one year on the condition of no new like violations, the remaining $140 will be paid in monthly payments of $50. Bond exonerated.

With Chief DDA Mike Macdonald representing the court and Maureen McQuillan representing the defendant, it was stated that the defendant has continued treatment, obtained employment, and has complied with all recommendations of the court. After hearing from all parties it was decided that there is no need for further review of this matter and that the case is to be closed.

In the case of Nicholas Paul Spencer, charged with, 1: Driving While License is Cancelled/Suspended/Revoked, 2: Convicted Person Registration w/Local Law Enforcement within 48 hours. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Shane Bell amended count 1 of criminal complaint and motioned to dismiss count 2. Defendant entered a guilty plea to count 1 which the court canvassed and accepted the same and ruled as follows: Count 1 – Fined $75 to be paid immediately following court. The court accepted the DA’s motion and count 2 is hereby dismissed.

In the case of Dusti Dean Deputy, charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Pursuant to negotiation, criminal complaint was amended in open court which was acknowledged by all parties. The defendant entered a no contest plea to the amended charge. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same and ruled as follows: Fined $355 with $150 converted to one day jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $205 is to be paid immediately following court.
