Sandy’s Boys won the 2023 Bad Boys Tournament held May 13-14 at Spare Time Bowl.
Nearly 110 bowlers participated, with 93 of them from out of town, as the Winnemucca Inn and Winner’s Casino helped sponsor the tournament.
Sandy’s Boys won the top prize of $3,600 and team members include Gary Hudgins, Conner Bell and Mike Boecher.
BSA (Brandon Engles. Sabrina Davis, Anthony Hernandez) finished second and earned $2,700. Hard White Pins (Nick Scherer, Dustin Regis, Joe Funk) placed third and won $1,950.
Pink (James Pinkney, Nick Wheeler, Cesar Rojas) were fourth and won $1,500.
Sour Patch Kids (Michael Blair, Mike Jackson, Nick Freigberg) placed fifth and Scottie Knows (Chris Morley, Jeff Morley, Scottie Redmond) were sixth. DCD (Dylan Ferguson, Chad Patton, Doug Hankins) placed seventh and Dynamic D Strikers (Joe Dousharm, Cindy Dayton, Jason Dousharm) finished in eighth.
The high team game went to CCS (Corbin Flechsig, Shawn Reed, Colt Leon) with an 835 series. Josh Cook and Chris Fletcher had the high individual game, with a 289.
The high average out of the money went to Alex Supponch at 226.42. Charlie Washburn, Gerry Vidmar, JJ Eldred, and Josh Groves and had the high individual points won/out of the money with 20.
Dynamic D Strikers won the Saturday, May 13, results, while Hard White Pins and Sandy’s Boys, were second and third, respectively.
