Pershing County baseball walked off with a win after two losses last week. On Wednesday they hosted North Tahoe for senior day, losing 7-0.
This past Saturday, they traveled to Fallon to play Oasis Academy in a non-league doubleheader.
The Mustangs lost the opener (6-5) but won the nightcap (13-11).
"We played good defense all week but didn't see our bats carry over," said coach Jared Jensen.
The boys head into postseason 13-14 overall and 9-9 in the Northern 2A.
They're fourth in the league behind West Wendover (14-1), Yerington (16-2) and Battle Mountain (11-4). They'll host the regionals as fourth seed this Friday and Saturday, Mother's Day weekend.

regional tournament
Lovelock hosts the regionals this Friday and Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
They'll play Yerington, Battle Mountain or West Wendover depending on the outcome of the next games.
"We're excited to have the opportunity to compete to go to State. Over the last year these kids have worked hard to put themselves in this position. All the hours of summer ball games, winter workouts and camps have helped. We're going to give it our all," coach Jensen said.
