Lowry’s Aidan Peters swims the 100-yard backstroke against Truckee on April 28 in Truckee.
The Lowry High School swim team made its way to Truckee on Friday, April 28, to take on the Wolverines in a dual.
The Truckee boys won 157-27 and the Wolverines beat the Lady Bucks 183-23.
Tanner Hatch turned in a pair of third-place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 31.67 seconds and the 50-yard freestyle (27.42).

Caden Montero placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:31.67) and was fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.64.

Lowry’s Caden Montero swims the 10-yard breaststroke.
Garret Jensen finished third in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:05.58 and he was fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (28.05).
In the girls race, Tea Bengoa earned a runner-up finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:36.28 and she was fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (7:15.97).
Aidan Peters finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:39.33) and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle and Evie Morgan was fifth in both the 50-yard freestyle (36.33) and the 500-yard freestyle (8:14.93).
Lowry finished the regular season this past weekend against Incline and head to Carson this Friday and Saturday for the Northern 3A Regional Championships.
Swimming gets under way at 2 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The top four individual finishers in each event advance to the state championships.
