March 15

In the case of Clay Jerod Lindquist, charged with 1: Basic speed 1-10 over limit, 2: Driving suspended/revoked alcohol related, 3: No proof of Insurance. Motion and order to dismiss filed by DA’s office.



In the case of Roberto Avalos-Hernandez, charged with Domestic Battery first offense. Motion to dismiss. Defendant completed terms of the agreement and no further violations of the laws per chief DDA Michael Macdonald. Order signed by Judge, dismissing the case without prejudice.

March 17

In the case of Ricky Lee Marley, charged with Burglary of a residence. An amended criminal complaint was filed prior to court, defendant entered a guilty plea for amended charges. Court accepted plea and ruled as follows; Fined sentenced to 60 days jail suspended for a period of 2 years on the condition he successfully completes specialty court. Pursuant to negotiation DDA Mike Macdonald motioned to dismiss the associated case, which the court accepted without objection from defense.



In the case of Ricky Lee Marley, charged with 1. Petit Larceny, 2. Resisting a public officer. Pursuant to negotiation in associated case, DDA Mike Macdonald motioned to dismiss the charge, court accepted without objection from defense.



In the case of Chelsea Marie Murrah, charged with drugs which may not be introduced into interstate commerce. Defendant was not present but represented by her count appointed attorney. A notice of completion was filed by the public defender and was accepted by the court. No further proceedings.



In the case of Jamie Faye Rose, charged with Domestic battery first offense. DDA Mike Macdonald amended original citation prior to court, acknowledged by all parties.

Defendant entered a guilty plea to the amended charges. Court accepted plea and ruled as follows; Fined $1,140 in fines and fees, $600 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. The remaining $540 is suspended for a period of one year on the condition of no new like violations.

March 20

In the case of Edgar Carrera, charged with Basic speed 1-10 over limit. DDA Mike Macdonald discussed matter with defendant off the record. Pursuant to negotiation, DA reduced fine amount to $195 with charges to remain as is. Defendant has 60 days to pay in full.



In the case of Boyd Woodrow Mallory Jr. charged with Overtake on left side or making left turn in prohibited zone. DDA Mike Macdonald discussed matter with defendant off the record. Pursuant to negotiation, the DA amended the charge with the fines to remain as is. Defendant has 45 days to pay in full.



March 21

In the case of Mitchell Byrne Remington, charged with, 1: Driving without valid license, second offense, 2. Following too close, 3. Hit and run property damage. DDA Shane Bell discussed matter with defendant off the record via telephone.

Pursuant to negotiation, count 3 was dismissed and counts 1 and 2 will remain as is. Defendant agreed to payment plan of $50 beginning April 21, 2023.
