March 7


In the case of Andre Abel Gonzalez, charged with 1. Injury to or destruction of property; 2. Disturbing the peace. Defendant plead guilty to both charges. Court ruled as follows: Fined $1,495, $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served, $690 suspended for a period of 1 year on the condition of no new like violations. The remaining  $655 is to be paid in monthly payments of $100 beginning June 1, 2023. Restitution in the amount of $25 is ordered to Humboldt Village Apartments. Defendant agreed to pay restitution in full immediately following Court. Bond exonerated. 




In the case of Jacob Alexander Retchless, charged with petit larceny. Court ruled as follows: Fined $1,140. with $150 converted to jail time and given credit for time served, $490 to be suspended for a period of 2 years on the condition of no new like violations, $500 to be paid by monthly payments of $50 beginning June 1, 2023. Defendant is ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $12.78 to Ridley’s as well as being trespassed from the establishment. Restitution to be paid in full by end of business day March 27, 2023.




March 8


In the case of Beaudean James Frandsen, charged with dog running at large, no rabies vaccination for dog or cat, no dog license or tag. Pursuant to negotiation and proof provided, DDA Mike MacDonald dismissed the citation. 




March 9


In the case of Christin Jean Boyer, charged with driving w/o valid drivers license. DDA Shane Bell discussed the matter with defendant off the record. Due to defendant providing proof of valid license, DDA dismissed the case.




In the case of Norman Wayne Thompson, charged with: 1. DUI-first offense; 2. Current registration required; 3. Driving on highway while having multiple marked lanes for traffic; 4. Open container of alcoholic beverage. Defendant was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for period of 1 year, stayed jail time on the condition he serve 2 days, credit time served of 1 day and sentenced to 48 hours house arrest for the remaining time to be completed by May 1, 2023. Fined $585, to be paid by monthly payments of $50 beginning June 1, 2023. 


DUI school and victim impact panel to be completed by June 1, 2023. Breath interlock ordered for 185 days. Bond exonerated. 




In the case of Kristy Ann Prevo, charged with trespassing. Pursuant to negotiation, DDA Mike MacDonald motioned to dismiss the charge, without objection, court dismissed the charge.




In the case of Asuzena Lopez, charged with domestic battery 1st. Charge was dismissed due to case could not be proved without a reasonable doubt.




In the case of Alfredo Antonio Ruiz, charged with domestic battery- 1st offense. DDA Mike MacDonald made motion to dismiss the charge due to could not prove without a reasonable doubt. Court accepted motion and case is dismissed. Bond exonerated.




March 14


In the case of Brenda Rigby, charged with driving without valid license-1st offense. Charge dismissed due to defendant obtained drivers license. 




In the case of Nathan Ray Odoms, charged with possession of a controlled substance. State filed an amended criminal complaint amended charge to misdemeanor. Defendant pled guilty to amended charge. Court accepted charge and sentenced defendant to 60 days in the county jail with credit for 2 days time served, leaving a balance of 58 days to serve. Defendant is to check in to serve his time on March 16, 2023 at 4:00p.m.
