Billie worked as the cook at various times while they lived on the different ranches, but she took time off when needed, including when Jim was born in 1966 so she could take care of her family.

Billie and Ken moved many times during their marriage, living in California, Washington, and Nevada, but the ranch was always their favorite place.

Billie loved to have the kids and grandkids visit no matter where they lived because she loved to cook and entertain everyone.

Billie was either “Grandma” or “GiGi” to anyone she met.  She loved well and it showed by how much she enjoyed being around her family and friends.

Some of her favorite pastimes were showing others how to cook, baking, playing cards, gardening, camping, and of course fishing.

She took pride in the fact that she baked all of her granddaughter’s delicious wedding cakes none of which were similar in any way.

She also had 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild all of which she loved to brag about.

This does not include the many nieces and nephews that she loved like children, which are too many to list.
