In the case of Caleb Spurlock, charged with 1. Display fictitious, cancelled, revoked, suspended/altered veh. reg. 2. Lic plate/title cert, tail lamp violation. DDA Shane Bell discussed this matter off the record with the defendant. DA dismissed count 2 with count 1 to remain as is. Defendant has 30 days to pay in full.
Feb. 16
In the case of Keith McBride, charged with failure to report accident: DDA Shane Bell discussed the matter with the defendant off the record via telephone. Pursuant to negotiation the DA reduced the fine to $200 with charge to remain as-is. Defendant has 30 days to pay in full.
In the case of Shaydee Eisenbarth, charged with domestic battery first offense: fined $1,140 with $150 converted to jail time with credit for served; $850 suspended for one year on condition of no new like violations. Remaining $140 to be paid in monthly payments of $50 beginning April 1. Bond exonerated.
In the case of Marcus Juan Roberts, originally charged with domestic battery first offense and later amended to breach of peace: defendant pleaded no contest to the amended charge and was fined $355 converted to jail with credit for time served.
In the case of Laurie Lea Prock, originally charged with battery upon a peace officer and later amended to resisting public officer: Defendant pleaded no contest to amended charge and was fined $1,140, $300 converted to jail time and given credit for time served. Remaining $790 is suspended for a period of 1 year on the condition of no new like violations. Defendant is released from pretrial services.
In the case of Philip Andrew Gabiola, charged with domestic battery: Per DDA Shane Bell, motion to dismiss due to uncooperative nature of the victim. Order signed by judge dismissing case without prejudice.
In the case of Ashley F. Andrews, petit larceny – Amended: Defendant plead no contest to amended charge of petit larceny, sentenced to 60 days in jail with 60 days suspended on condition no like violations within 2 years, complete 100 hrs of community service, and agrees to be trespassed from Ridleys. Review hearing set for Aug. 10, 2023 at 9:15a.m.
