The Winnemucca Senior League all-stars were in Fernley this past week for the District 3 Tournament.
Winnemucca opened play on Friday and suffered a 11-6 loss to High Desert (Fernley).
The loss put Winnemucca in an elimination game against Walker River (Yerington) on Saturday morning and Winnemucca came away with a 16-6 win in five innings.
In a second elimination game on Saturday night, Winnemucca took on Silverada (Dayton).
Winnemucca was up 3-2 after four innings of play but Silverada scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to win 14-4.
