#The Winnemucca Junior all-stars dropped its first game of the tournament to White Pine on Friday, June 16, but came back through the bracket to beat Elko on Sunday morning.
#Winnemucca took on High Desert (Fernley) on Monday morning and rallied to win. Winnemucca played White Pine later on Monday and results were not available at press time.
#The Winnemucca 10-12-year-old stars won its first two games in the tournament, beating Battle Mountain on Thursday, June 15, and High Desert on June 16.
#However, Winnemucca saw its tournament run end with losses to Elko and Walker River (Yerington).
#The Winnemucca 8-10-year-old star team dropped a pair of games to High Desert and Silverada.
#The Battle Mountain 10-12-year-old team lost games to Winnemucca and Walker River.
#The state championships for the Junior Division takes place June 30-July 3 in Fernley.
#The 8-10-year-old and 10-12-year-old divisions will play the state tournament in Winnemucca from July 19-23.
