The Winnemucca junior golf season kicked off on Wednesday, July 12, with the Emelie Dillon scramble, as members of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club joined the youngsters.
The group of Carole Doughty, Maddux Nichols, Zane Stockton, Jillian Bell and Eric Marcinik won with a score of 32. Marlea Pointer, Casen Balaam, Grady Tolbert, Bryant Tolbert and Ayden Kestle finished second at 33.
Katie Cassinelli, Landree Corbitt, Hadley Corbitt, Jessie Mouritsen and Landon Mouritsen shot 34 to place third and Lori Woodland, Rosalie Heiser, Kea Cabatbat, Desmond Graham and Uriah Graham (35) were fourth.
Lisa Carlson, Canyon Weber, Bryelle Weber, Grant Weber, Sebastian Roman and Txendoa Cabatbat and the team of Laurie Pickett, Lacy Fentress, Ethan Myers, Amaya Myers and Liam Kohler tied for fifth with scores of 36.
Kruser Wilkinson, Drake Guzman, Eligh Guzman, Aiden Guzman and Jillian Guzman and Kailani Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez, Karli Rodriguez and Jonathan Gildone each shot 37.
