Darlene Isaacs passed away on January 21, 2023, in Winnemucca, Nevada at the age of 74.
She was born on February 7, 1948, to Robert and Myrtle Overbey. She was the youngest of 12 children.
She was born and raised in Illinois. She also spent many years in Indiana and Nevada. She went to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she worked in nursing homes for over 30 years.
She met and married her first Husband Robert Leaver, the two shared a daughter, Theresa. She then married her second husband, Adam Isaacs.
Darlene loved to knit and crochet. She also loved to go to Virginia City, Nevada she loved all the cute shops. She also loved spending time with her family.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Todd) Myers, her grandchildren, Jordan, Jami, Christian, Cindy, and Heather Elder, her 15 great-grandchildren.
As well as her brothers, Clarence, Bud, and Eddie Overbey and sisters, Viola Burns and Bernice Huff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Overbey, brothers, Charles, Bill, Phillip and James Overbey and sisters, Helen Ketcherside and Katherine Overbey and her great-grandchild, Bryson Duggan.
Funeral Services for Darlene Isaacs will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Sonoma Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Winnemucca Cemetery.
