The Lowry High School wrestling team finished with a 9-2 record at the Northern 3A duals held this past weekend at Spring Creek High School.
The only losses the Buckaroos suffered were to Fernley and Elko.
“The loss to Fernley stings a little, simply because we beat them a little over a week ago,” said LHS coach John Brooks. “I’ll certainly give credit to them. They are on the rise.”
Two Buckaroo wrestlers went 11-0, Jhett Harber and Luke Fentress. Brooks noted that will put them in good positions, as far as seeding goes for the regional championships this weekend in Reno.
