Humboldt General Hospital would like to welcome Dr. Alex K. Curtis to our Rural Health Clinic as a new family medicine physician.
Before accepting a position at Humboldt General Hospital, he worked at Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, Al. He is looking forward to moving to Winnemucca for new opportunities and being closer to his children and grandchildren.
He brings 37 years of experience to our beloved community. Dr. Alex K. Curtis pursued an undergraduate degree at UC Davis and continued medical school at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. After medical school, he completed his residency in Selma, Al.
He became a family medicine board-certified physician to help people in their most vulnerable state. His favorite part of being a physician is delivering babies and bringing new life into the world. Nothing brings more joy than seeing a family’s love for their new addition to their family. When Dr. Alex K. Curtis is not at the hospital, he spends time with his family.
