Burton Jay Whitehead passed away on January 7, 2023, at 2:30 pm.
He was born on August 16, 1941.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John David Whitehead and Henriette Isabelle Stevens, his two brothers, Kenneth Whitehead, and Frank David Whitehead, two sisters Jean Loff and Chrissy Steuver and his son, Burton Jay Whitehead.
His surviving family includes his wife, Valerie Whitehead, his brother, Jack (Marlene) Whitehead, his children Candy (Patrick) Windschill, Cookie (Greg Herrera) Whitehead, Ginger (Eric) Isensee, Chad (Janice) Whitehead Chorniak, Berton (Julie) Whitehead, Troy (Maggie) Whitehead, Jeffery (Carly) Whitehead, and his best friends Ken and Bonnie Goodness. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren and hundreds of nieces and nephews.
His favorite things to do were to go hunting, fishing, and golfing with his sons. Going 4-wheeling with Ken and Bonnie Goodness.
What Burt couldn’t think of doing Ken could and they had the best adventures.
Burt loved his family and friends with all his heart, and he will be greatly missed.
