Brandon Lee Honey passed away on January 2, 2023, in Reno, Nevada.
He was born on April 5, 1994, in Boise, Idaho to Billie Jo and Randy Honey.
The family moved to Winnemucca, Nevada when Brandon was only two years old. From then he spent most of his life in Winnemucca.
Brandon worked as a cashier at Flying J and then as a slot technician for Golden Entertainment, taking care of the slot machines at various locations in town.
Brandon was a Bass Fishing member and loved camping.
He enjoyed Fox Racing and going to races, watching movies, playing games, playing slot machines and skateboarding.
Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephews, Weston and Kailor.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Billie Jo Honey and stepfather, Dave Ramey. His grandparents, Anthony and Linda Gipe, his brother, Tylor (Hannah Hudson) Honey-Ingraham, his sister, Sierra Honey and his nephews, Weston Honey, Kailor Collins and Blake and David Shankel and niece, Azaleyah Dej. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; Tonia and Anthony Leazer, Darlen and Pete Gomez and T.R. Gipe, his cousins, Iceadawn (Dakota Shankel) Leazer, Tristin Leazer, Breonna Leazer, Dakota Gipe and Kenneth Turner.
He is survived by his father, Randy Lee Honey, his great-grandmother, Darlene Plumb, his brother, Kody Lee Honey, his uncle, Danny Plumb and cousins, Amanda Sue Turner and Melanie “Melbo” Parry-Withers.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the GoFundMe account set up to help support Brandon’s family in this time of grief.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Convention Center in Winnemucca, Nevada.
His ashes will be interred next to his brother and father at a later date in Idaho.
